Terms of Use

Use Lockit intentionally and responsibly.

Last updated: May 30, 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Lockit, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What Lockit Does

Lockit helps you manage app access by letting you create control groups, schedules, built-in or custom task-based unlock flows, temporary access sessions, whitelists, always-block lists, and related settings.

Lockit relies on Apple's Screen Time APIs and iOS system behavior. Some functionality may depend on device settings, operating system version, permissions, and Apple's platform limitations.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for configuring Lockit appropriately for your own device, family, study, work, or wellbeing goals. You are also responsible for remembering passwords, managing exported backup files, creating appropriate custom task content, and deciding which apps or categories should be controlled.

Appropriate Use

Do not use Lockit in a way that violates laws, infringes others' rights, interferes with another person's device without permission, or attempts to bypass iOS security and privacy protections.

No Guarantee of Results

Lockit is designed to support focus and healthier digital habits, but it cannot guarantee behavioral outcomes, productivity gains, or uninterrupted restrictions. App access behavior can be affected by iOS updates, Screen Time permissions, device management profiles, app reinstallations, system bugs, or user configuration choices.

Not for Emergencies

Lockit should not be used to block access to apps or services that you may need for emergencies, safety, medical needs, communication, legal obligations, or essential device operation.

Intellectual Property

Lockit, including its design, text, graphics, and software, is owned by its developer or licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer Lockit except as permitted by law.

Changes to the App or Terms

We may update Lockit or these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Lockit after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

Disclaimer

Lockit is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lockit's developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Lockit.
